SAD INTRODUCTORY STATEMENT TO NOTE:
As from 5th November 2009 this site ceased to be the
official site of the County Grand Orange Lodge of Glasgow
at it's unilateral decision and surprise.
It is apparently no longer regarded as appropriate or modern enough and will be eventually eventually be superceded by a new one in time. As the personal owner and financer of this site over the years, I provided this service as an aid to portray Orangeism in the city on behalf of the body mentioned.
That being the practical state this site will remain in operation for the time being as a general service to those looking for information on projects they are doing or for information on Orangeism. I have been able to help a number of students and others and sadly this can no longer be the case. Any future enquirers on Orangeism in the City of Glasgow are now advised to contact the national Orange HQ. While the site still exists I will try to be of unofficial help.
I have now decided that this site will not be permitted to be plagerised. The two choices are either to continue an unofficial project and in that area I would copyright it - or close it. It does not seem correct for a site not wanted to be cherry picked. This will be confirmed soon and most definitely in this month of November one way or another. My thanks to all those who complimented this work here and overseas.

The overdue pictures for the Battle of the Diamond Rally in Drumchapel will go up as a service having indicated these would be shown. These will replace the item on Partick all going well the week commencing Monday 9th November, 2009.
